On 25. and 26. 10.2018, REWAFI project team member participated in a working visit of three projects implemented in Brussels (Belgium). Projects have received co-financing from the EU programs aimed at promoting economic, social and territorial cohesion in the EU regions. The project „Historic “École des vétérinaires” building becomes a new business hub“ focused on energy-efficient renovation of the old Veterinary School which will provide first-rate office space for local SMEs and start-ups. The project „Brussels Greenfields” helps finance chemical clean-up for companies that settle on polluted sites. The third project „Brussels-based Centre for Excellence in Sustainable Construction promotes top techniques for eco-building and renovation“ is raising competence and innovation at the construction companies, in the fast-moving field of sustainable construction, to assure growth and jobs.
