On 15. and 16. 11.2018, REWAFI project team member participated in a working visit of three projects implemented in Porto (Portugal). Projects are co-financed by the EU programs aimed at promoting economic, social and territorial cohesion in the EU regions. The project called „New Cruise Terminal for the Port of Leixões“ was focused on the improvement of port commercial efficiency by maximizing the attractiveness of cruise activity as a high growth potential segment and also a better urban integration. The project „Institute for Research and Innovation in Health – i3S” established a single top-level research centre and a shared network of knowledge and resources, including physical and intangible assets with increased synergy creation between the three institutes, without duplication or loss of effectiveness. The third project „The Science and Technology Park of the University of Porto - UPTEC“ supports the creation and development of business projects in the arts, sciences and technologies, through sharing knowledge between the university and the market.
